Handmade guitars from the lab
Support the class by purchasing a guitar handmade by the Professor and his students in the guitar lab!
Each guitar is a lesson and learning process here at the guitar lab, from new techniques and woods to first-time builders. These are test instruments, and they have been through a lot. Every instrument here has a story; we do our best to capture that on each guitar’s page. In addition to its technical features, each guitar will come hand signed by the student(s) and professor who built them. These signatures can be found on the back of the headstock with the serial number indicating the date the guitar was made.
While the build cost of the guitar is not tax deductible, any amount paid over the build cost would be tax deductible and considered a donation to support the guitar lab at Purdue. The transparent cost breakdown and further details are provided on the page for each guitar below. Questions can be directed to Noah Scott at nmscott@purdueforlife.org.
